HAN Shaohua, Phd, associate professor in school of art and design, Wuhan University of Technology, Visiting professor in College of fine arts, Seoul National University. He is now the director of LeNSLab-WUT, and the Wuhan Chair of the SDN , focusing on promoting service transition and experience innovation of product design in the context of sustainable development.
With the rich professional knowledge and practical experience in interdisciplinary design research, strategic scenario construction and service system design, he leads the research team to preside over the projects from the China ministry of education, China ministry of science and technology, the Brain Korea 21 and other national commissions. He has also completed more than ten design projects from CSSC, CRRC, DFMC, GAC, HUAWEI, IBM, STEELCASE, IKEA and other leading enterprises.
Regarded as one of the top ten professor major in experience design by IXDC, he has given academic lectures or workshops in Tsinghua University, Seoul National University, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, City University of Macau, India Institute of Technology, University of Nairobi and other universities.
He developed copyleft online sustainable design toolkit, service design co-creation platform, product experience design framework and dozens of articles on journals, monographs and teaching textbook have been published.
Currently he is the chief promoter and coordinator of distributed innovation design international Dialogue (http://didid.org), global joint design course (http://designparty.org) and the international award focused on sustainability (http://zeroaward.com).
